Weakly Confined Cadmium Chalcogenide Nanocrystals and Their Unexpected Properties

Recently I read a research article by Liulin Lv, Shaojie Liu, Jiongshao Li, Haixin Lei, Haiyan Qin, and Xiaogang Peng on ACS Publications. The title of the article is Sythesis of Weakly Confined, Cube-Shaped, and Monodisperse Cadmium Chalcogenide Nanocrystals with Unexpected Photophysical Properties and can be read here

I look forward to reading more about the expected applications for weakly confined, cube-shaped cadmium chalcogenide nanocrystals. Longer monoexponential decay lifetimes, and dual peak PL are interesting properties that might be beneficial for display, lighting, solar cell, laser, quantum light source, and other quickly advancing technology.
