The water-soluble indium phosphide zinc sulfide (InP/ZnS) quantum dots from NN-Labs are an environmentally-friendly, heavy metal-free, non-toxic alternative to cadmium based quantum dots. Their water-soluble and non-toxic nature makes them especially excellent bio-labeling reagents.
